Recently have discovered aquila bikes. From what I learned its a canadian brand out of toronto. Circa 1990-1992? They made mid to high end steel and aluminum frames. Can we get some more information about aquila bikes here? Here is some photos of aquilas i have found so far. Please post your aquila pics and share whatever you can here! Cheers!

I gotta say, although not so retro looking, that elevated stay is beautiful. I like finding out about obscure Canadian brands. I'm going to look around

I'm finding a lot of road stuff. Gary Fisher Aquila hogs up all the search engine results. Aquila-Cycles_MSC-Newsletter.webp
Their history on the web site doesn't mention off road bikes, but maybe they built a few to capitalize on the craze. Everybody and their cousin were making them back then.

"Aquila is the in house brand of Oakville and Toronto based bike shop Racer Sportif. The company offers carbon road, triathlon and track bikes that have been ridden by Canadian development squad Team RaceClean as well as by Canadian track athletes on the international circuit"

https://cyclingmagazine.ca/sections/gear-reviews/bikesframes/canadian-bicycle-brands/If that is, as I suspect, a Tange Switchblade fork on it, that is a sign that they used high quality materials

Yes i spoke to the owner of the estay. The frame is much older than the components. I asked around for info about the brand on his sale post on facebook and got these replies. Apparently its the same company that offers road bikes.
