Personally I think it was beautiful on the snowflakes, pretty much perfection... to me those spins are nowhere near classy enough for the bike, they lower the tone too much.
By the way, I also think it looks great without decals (which is not something I'd normally say) - all those sweeping polished alloy tubes look great, vaguely aeronautical perhaps!

awesome build. both wheels sets look great!!!!
but i really like that fork. goes great with it. never heard of that brand. are they readily available? i could use one since i am having no luck finding an a-star fork for my ti-mega and you say it is a 1 1/4" steeer tube.

Thanks for the positive words. Unfortunately, the Softride fork (ironic much?) isn't 'readily vailable'. In fact, i've only ever seen one other & it was on US eBay a few months back. I chanced upon the fork in a long-standing bike shop while looking for a fork to complete the build some time ago. It's no Funk Big Fork but I like the way it looks on the bike.
