I'll emphasise on the around, I just remember staring in the local bike shop window on my pink splatter fire mountain and wanting one so bad :roll: new ally frame massive coke can down tube full Xt with little windows on the levers god did I want that? Little did I know I was sat on a far superior bike?
In Marton cycles in 91 the Xt version was £998

Given they are more like halfords bso, customers were not buying them so heavy discounting started seeing the xt advertised in some places around £600 and therefore the dx must have been considerably lower.

In regards to this sale, they are bso and so you have nothing to lose by asking for such an amount.

Advertising it as nos even though it's admittedly been used seems odd but hey

There is more to learn from what isn't said in these posts than what is said.

The NOS-but-not-NOS bike didn't sell, there were no bids at the £250 start price. It has not been relisted (at least not on eBay).

I wish Guildford Bike Project all the best but this listing has made me think twice about buying anything from them - how can we be sure it is as described?
