suburbanreuben Old School Grand Master Feb 23, 2010 #4 Does that groove on the steerer go all the way around?
M mark3823 Dirt Disciple Feb 23, 2010 #5 No - it's about 5 or 6 cm around, and is deeper on one side than the other.
M mark3823 Dirt Disciple Mar 6, 2010 #9 I wouldn't know how to replace it, but I think you can still buy new steerers from Amp Research themselves: http://www.amp-research.com/products/misc/bikes.asp I've bought stuff from them before and they charge $15.00 postage to the UK. Probably best to contact them for advice on the steerer tube. You can also get the manual for these forks from their site as well.
