Klein Adroit being parted out in 3 auctions

While I mean no offense to the Seller as I am sure he will get the desired "coin" parting it out...

But..... wouldnt you hate to be the Guy that has been waiting for years for a Banana Yellow Single Speed Adroit to come to the market and when it finally did......you end up being in not ONE but THREE bidding bloodbaths?

And then to add to your blood pressure he only allows about 5 seonds between each auction end time!?!?

Ehhhhhh...too much stress!

Re:

Klein owners are minted, just set each auction max bid at $10,000....what's the problem ?

Damn it, you beat me to the post..

Fork is not an Adroit fork and I'm pretty sure the previous owner (who sold it on ebay a year ago) did the work on the frame (not klein) and had the carbon removed from the frame in the process.

Sure, but I think odds are better of being one of the many guys with a frame that needs a fork, stuck waiting for years unable to get one because they're usually attached to frames with matching original paint that shouldn't be broken up.

There's nothing sacred about this one.

That's just a result of copying one listing to the next to keep them together, from getting lost in the stack of 135 simultaneous auctions.

As for the history of this frame, I have no idea. As I explained to Martin, it was the story I got when I picked it up on CL a year or so ago, and while parts of it were credible, Tinkers mom who does sell his old kit at the bmx track, the Trek (fisher) factory paint, etc... the timeline never made a ton of sense. But then I don't have all day to try putting the mysterious past of some old bike together either.

Well hey.....if it means this post lured an avid (major)collector and obvious fan of the sport to become a Retrobike Forum Member then I guess I did good!
Welcome! How bout posting up some builds?

The holes at the bottom of the fork are very small, so these forks may very well be UniKleins, worth a third of a Strata. Maybe Martin can verify this by the serial no (last pic).

Re:

Still some magenta in the dropouts and some green on the steer tube. It looks like a Dolomite Uniklein.
