Looking for pictures of a Carlton Super Python

Very peculiar seeing that in 1947 the Super Python was depicted in the catalogue with the fixed gear and just the front brake ... Messanger style bikes come from quite time ago ...

Considering that many bikes were built following the owner specifications and that the Super Python where on the market for more than 20 years, i suspect that it will be very difficult to find 2 bike identical each other.

I hope to find other catalogues, may be of the 50s.

I know that when I was researching a 1951Holdsworth cyclone recently, I realised that they came in everything from single speed, 3 speed, 5 speed and so on with variations in colours and decal....
That Super Python looks great - even if you can't pin down the details

Some Pythons from catalogue

Here some drawing of Phytons I have found in catalogues. It appears that this machine was produced since about 1937 up to 1954-55

Here some pictures of the Cartlon Super Phyton I have recently cleaned up.
The bike was resprayed and largely updated in the early 80s, I took the decision to leave everything as it was when i bought it, apart from the change of the rear derailleur, down tube shifter and brake cable holders.
When the bike was updated in the 80s the former owner decided to change to wheels, passing to a 27 and installing a ugly low cost simplex 4-speed rear deraillaurs.

Do you know the make and model of the chainset on your Carlton ? I have the exact chainset but have been unable to positively ID it
