Peugeot Aravis 1980s Reynolds 531 Professional Tubing

Old School Grand Master
I used to have one of these some time ago, sold it here, and regret it ever since.
Sheer luck i found this through a guy who joined our newly created cycling club.
A lot of work has been done to it,in quite a state when i picked it up
Most of the original components have been salvaged.
Simplex Seat Post,Shimano 105 Headset,Shimano 600 BB,Atax Stem,Shimano 600 Tricolor Chainset.
Iv'e built it up with components i had lying around just to get the feel of the build and ride.
I had a lovely Turbo Bernard Hinault Saddle (Suede)
I am looking for the following items to finish.
Shimano 600 Tricolor Brake Calipers and Levers.
Shimano 600 Tricolor 8-Speed Rear Mech.

Anyone know what year it's from?
Thanks
Malc

Another Aravis!

I've got one of these!

Great bikes. Yours looks in nice condition - unlike mine it looks like its been in more continuous use (rather than stored for 20 years).

Its from 1988. Funnily enough I have a tricolour 600 rear mech and brake levers, both of which used to be fitted to my Aravis (I had a minor spill on it in 1989 and upgraded the original scratched 105 parts under the insurance). It'd be quite fitting if you wanted to buy them for your Aravis! Make me an offer and i'll think about it
