yup

but the crack was because its been welded before
so i sorted the oe part too
cut shut drill tap

Your digging yourself a big hole mikee, craftsmanship that good is going to lead you to being harrassed by retrobikers the world over

Why not just build a complete bespoke one off Mikeebike just to prove you can do it. A frame machined from a single peice of aluminium with loads of intricat cut outs etc to keep the weight down.

the problem is velo that no one would pay the price of it
a similar but simpler part for a motorcycle sells for over £100
guys will happily pay that
this would need to be £200 just to cover costs ,the billet is £50 for a start can't see anyone wanting to pay that

thats really nice mike i kinda wish i never sold the forks now but i wouldnt of spent £200 on another crown so looks like they went to the right person


any pic's of them fitted yet ?
