Sugino Mighty 900 chainset what bottom bracket axle length.

I'm going to be using a Sugino Mighty 900 chainset on my Explosif but have no idea what axle length is required for the bottom bracket, anyone know the correct size

The mighty 900 isn't on but the ones i've highlighted are all between 113-118 so i'll guess that the 900 should be the same then

113 should be the sweet spot. Anything more and it starts getting a bit sketchy.

I run 113 or 110 on mine, both are fine although I would go for 113 if there is more than 10T difference between middle and outer rings.

Good choice - lighter than XTR and every bit as well finished.

Kona used 110mm BB with the mighty 900, giving a 47.5 chainline, a 113 would move you out to 50mm chainline.

You might be able to get the 107mm if you NDS crank looks to far out, that also give the 47.5mm chainline.

Cheers for all the advice, another thing came into my head because i'm currently looking at the other 93 Explosif which is all standard so has a 8 speed set up. The other one will be running a Deore XT 7 speed hub so 7 speed cassette, will that make a difference on the axle length needed on the mighty 900.

Not really, in theory it should be a couple of mm closer in, which would favour the 110 slightly. In reality is the frame exactly true???
I suspect you are over-thinking this.

There's an element of choice to chainline, and a historical development imo:

Initially, low q factor was the aim, but the triple chainset needed extra clearance for the inner sprocket.
Frames started to get a bigger dink to make a bit more room here.

Later front mechs struggled to pull the chain into the inner sprocket if the axle was short, and then larger tyre sizes necessitated a longer bb axle so the fmech (+ sometimes chain) didn't catch the tyre!
