suspension forks for a Hei Hei

My next project is to replace some old battered forks on a 19" Hei Hei.

If I were to go for a suspension fork what would you suggest?????

Depends what year it is and what kind of riding you like to do.

1998; mainly hard trialing, woods, river beds, hills and XC. Certainly no rocks, mountains, hard terrain; I'm too old.

Some early SID's? at either 63mm or 80mm they should fit easily and are fairly light weight.

Kona fitted Z2 Atom Bombs in 98 and 99 and SID XCs in 2000, so either will do nicely. I prefer Z2s myself, as I find that the better steering more than compensates for the extra pound in weight. But SIDs are worth twice as much as Z2s on eBay, so Rich must be in the majority.
