Campagnolo self extracting bolt removal tool...

That's my second Marinoni. My first was bought in 84', and I raced on that bike for four seasons, until I sold it at the end of 88. I wasn't planning on buying another one, but when I saw that one, and the groupo that was on it and the near pristine condition, I couldn't pass it up. Plus, it...

That sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. I have found someone who is selling me one.

Campagnolo self extracting bolt removal tool...

I'm not particularly concerned with what is prevalent and what is not. Designs in this industry are constantly changing, as they are with just about everywhere else. The diversity of it is what intrigues me. I have three "racing" bikes. A Colnago C60 with 2015+ Record 11 speed mechanical, a...

That's the one! Really? Campy is all I have used (on my "racing" bikes") in 45 years.

I've found someone who claims to have a few. I'm waiting to hear back from him. Not sure what he's charging? Yes, they are very hard to come by. I haven't seen any aftermarket versions. I'd be happy to buy one of those.

If you've ever used one of these, or have looked for one, then you know what it is. I'm looking for one, and I'd be happy to pay. If anyone has one, please advise! Regards, JP

10 speed cranks on 8 speed..

Thanks for the replies. They seem to be the consensus. That being said, I was able to source a pair of NOS 39/53 mid 90's C Record chainrings. Perfect!

    Spline sizes/shapes and years...

Greetings, Another question.... I'm looking at a Super Record 8 speed free hub that is NOS and described as from the early 90's. It has the aluminum free hub body, and based on the looks of it, I'd say it's from the 1993 product year. The Campy description states that both steel and the...

10 speed cranks on 8 speed..

The title pretty much says it. I have a lead on a NOS 2005 aluminum Record 10 speed crank set, and the cost is tempting me to consider getting it for the chain rings to use on my 1993 Record 8 speed. Any thoughts as to how it would all integrate? They're the same BCD. They're also the same...

    Campagnolo Parts Compatibility Question:

Thanks. I'm not going to take a chance. Maybe someday a 1993 36 hole, 8 speed Super Record free hub will miraculously appear somewhere!

    Campagnolo Parts Compatibility Question:

Anyone have any idea if this Campy Record hub will accommodate cassettes from 1993 8 speed? https://www.ebay.ca/itm/315142653794?mkevt=1&mkpid=0&emsid=e11051.m43.l1123&mkcid=26&ch=osgood&euid=7b0438c4d08246e6a46a8bf9ac1e357c&bu=45195733240&osub=-1%7E1&crd=20240429090112&segname=11051

    Campagnolo Parts Compatibility Question:

Thanks. I watched a youtube video yesterday of a disassembly and reassembly of an 8 speed Athena hub and there was a seal on the drive side (and the non-drive side as well). Here's a link...

    Campagnolo Parts Compatibility Question:

Good points! I never thought about the steel cogs munching away at the alloy body. That being said, the cogs on a Record 10 speed and a Super Record 11 speed (I have both) are a mix of titanium cogs and steel cogs. My Record 10 speed is approaching 20 years old and the aluminum free hub body...

    Campagnolo Parts Compatibility Question:

Thanks. I took a look on the product listing from a US based parts store, and wouldn't you know it, they're out of the o-rings!! There's no mention of the drive side seal that I'd like to get. I hear what you say. Given the age of this bike (aside from the o-ring and the missing seal in...

    Campagnolo Parts Compatibility Question:

Greetings, new poster here. Greetings, I posted this same question on another forum but I'm not getting any hits, so I thought I'd try it here. I took my 93 Record 8 speed hub a part yesterday as I discovered that the bearings were too tight. When I took it apart, I discovered that the...
