My 1999 Specialized S-Works FSR XC M4 in ‘metallic yellow’.

I searched for flippin years for this, there is not many around in the UK…..I’m on the lookout for another though.

So, I finished the DS replica and got another FSR pro to build up along the way. The replica has complete BETD linkage (NOS) and bearings (refurbished). The paint tool hours and the decals took months to arrive, but I am over the moon with how it looks and rides. Still some tweaking of parts (I really need an MRP chain guide for it and possibly change the forks).

Stumbled upon this thread (so thanks rva and Dangermouse for bumping this!) I've never looked twice at old Specialized bikes they had never really appealed to me but there are some absolutely lovely bikes I've seen here, it's crazy to me that the late 1990s ones were already considered classics like 12 years ago, they seem versatile and I'm guessing they ride well. Anyways enjoy your bikes everyone
