Seat tube to top tube junction.

Looking for a Mag 21 in 1 1/8. Normal mag21 is fine or a SL- Ti maybe would work too. For a 1993 build. Ideally threadless but threaded would work also. Needs to be in nice condition or need paint. I don’t mind either way as long as it’s not got any chucks missing , damage etc.

To me it isn’t. Both are fake. Sellers like to use the word reproduction but they aren’t. Once you add that Syncros / Ringle logo to the item or description it’s exactly the same situation as Aliexpress. If they were produced by the same company (like smoke/darts) then re-pro is the term...

He knows they are fake. He’s not used “Hope” as the brand anywhere and that’s the first thing anyone would do when listing these. He’s been a little clever really if you think about it. To be fair though … the price and lack of detail would of made me question it

Admittedly I didn’t get a A* in science but it still seems more logical to break the bond using cold. No damage to paint and no issues with heat damage. But if it works for you. I’d use heat on an alloy frame if I had a steel post stuck or maybe alloy and alloy.
